A 31-member Saudi trade delegation will be arriving in Islamabad on Tuesday (February 8) on a two-day visit under the leadership of Saudi Minister for Commerce and Industry Hashim A.Yamani. Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) Chairman Tariq Ikram will chair Pak-Saudi business meeting on February 8. After the welcome speech of the EBP Chairman, presentations will be made by the EPB, Board of Investment (BoI), Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) and Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).
Earlier, inaugural session of the seventh Pak-Saudi Joint Ministerial Council (JMC) will be held.
On February 9, the Saudi Joint Business Council (JBC) will review the implementation of the recommendations made in the last JBC. It will also consider the fresh proposals and suggestions for promotion of bilateral trade and joint ventures.
Later, the Saudi businessmen will have one-to-one meetings with their Pakistani counterparts.
